Honorable Ministers of Trade and Industry from Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania visit to the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania. Washington, D.C.

The Honorable Ministers of Trade and Industry from East African countries Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania visited the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania on September 25th, 2016 and convened a Preparatory Meeting for the East African Community position to the United States Sub-Saharan Africa Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum held on September 26th, 2016.

The Global Young Leaders Conference is a 10 days leadership journey set to expand young leaders horizons and explore the future on a whole new level. CORNELL UNIVERSITY FELLOWSHIPS
 
NEW STUDENT FELLOWSHIP
New students fellowship is one of many  fellowships set up by the cornell university to help new applicants on tuition, stipend and individual health insurance. The Cornell University Fellowships are awarded at the time of admission.
How to apply:
  • Student must be applying to Cornell University.
  • Prospective students apply for fellowships in support of diversity through the admissions application.
  • To be considered, applicants must respond “yes” to the question on the admissions application asking if they wish to be considered for university assistantships and fellowships, including diversity fellowships. Applicants must also submit a supplemental essay that addresses how the above criteria apply.
  • The Director of Graduate Studies for the graduate field to which the applicant is applying must submit a nomination to the Graduate School for consideration by the Associate Dean for Inclusion & Student Engagement and the Dean of the Graduate School.

The Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP) is a scholar fellowship program for educational projects at African higher education institutions. Offered by IIE in partnership with the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa), the program is funded by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York (CCNY)

WORLD BANK GROUP AFRICA EARLY YEARS FELLOWSHIP 2017 FOR YOUNG AFRICAN PROFESSIONALS
The World Bank Group’s Early Learning Partnership (ELP) is launching the Africa Early Years fellowship to recruit a cadre of young African professionals to support governments and World Bank teams to scale up investments in the early years. This new initiative is complementary to the WBG Africa Fellowship Program, which is targeting Ph.D students from Sub-Saharan Africa who are interested in starting careers with the World Bank Group.
Application Procedure:
  • To apply, please submit a completed application form and resume by October 20, 2016. Only short listed candidates will be contacted.
  • Fellows will be selected by December 2016 and will start work in early 2017.

Kikwete nyumbani kwake kwa chakula cha jioni na kujumuika pamoja na ujumbe wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, ambao walikuwa nchini Marekani kwa ajili ya kuhudhuria mikutano ya Benki ya Dunia (World Bank Group) na International Monetary Fund (IMF) tarehe 12 - 17 Aprili 2016. Kwenye ziara yake jijini Washington, Mhe. Rais Mstaafu Kikwete alishiriki katika Kongamano la Kimataifa la Afya (World Health Congress) na Mkutano wa Kamisheni ya Umoja wa Mataifa ya Kushauri Namna Bora ya Kugharamia Fursa ya Elimu kwa Wote Duniani (International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity).
